Wanted to let everybody know that there will be a race on June 26th 2010 to honor our friend Steve Raddatz, at the Steve Raddatz Memorial Raceway (S.H.A.R.C. dirt track) . For those of you who don't know, Steve was co-owner of Hobbytown USA with his wife Gina. He was tragically killed in a plane crash in May of 2008 when the plane he was piloting collided with another plane. Steve was very active in the RC world with both trucks, and aircraft. He was also a builder, and pilot of experimental aircraft. He was involved in the EAA Young Eagles where he introduced kids to his love of building and flying aircraft. A portion of the proceeds will be donated in Steve's honor to the EAA Yound Eagles.

We will have food, and drinks. The track has electricity, and lights. There will be some nice trophies for the winners, plus we are working on some other prizes as well. We are taking registrations now on rcsignup.com, so go sign up and come out and have a fun day of racing with us, and help a good cause.
